SQL Schema Editor
The SQL Schema Editor opens .sql and .ddl files. The header counts the tables, the enums and the other statements.
- Tables are cards: rename a table, and for every column edit the name, the type, primary key, not null and unique,
the default and the reference to another table with its
ON DELETErule; move columns up and down, add and delete them. Table constraints are listed and can be added. The SQL of the whole table is one click away. - Enums are cards with their values: rename, add and delete values.
- Everything else, such as indexes, views, functions,
ALTERstatements and data, stays as editable SQL blocks. - Add table, Add enum and a raw statement at the end add new parts.
Each change rewrites only the statement it concerns, so SQL the editor does not model is never lost or reformatted.
The SQL schema contracts of the code generators are YAML files and open in the Text Editor.
