ZIP-family archives open as a tree: ZIP, JAR, WAR, EAR, AAR, APK, AAB, IPA, APPX, MSIX, VSIX, XPI, NUPKG, WHL and EGG. Only the list of entries is read, so even a large archive opens at once. The header shows the number of files, their total size and how much the compression saves.

Select entries with a click, Ctrl+Click for several, Shift+Click for a range; a selected folder includes its contents.
Double-click an entry to preview it: text, images, and Java classes, which are decompiled first.
Extract selected or Extract all… into a folder you choose.
Add files… and Add folder… put files from disk into the archive, Delete removes the selected entries after a confirmation. Both rewrite the archive.

Other archive formats, such as TAR, GZ, 7z and RAR, open in the Hex Editor.
