Getting Started

Genexy comes as Genexy IDE and Genexy CLI, and neither needs an account. With an account and an active PRO subscription, additional features are unlocked.

Choose how to start

Both are free, need no account and are on the same Download page; the Android and iOS versions are reached from there as well.

Genexy IDEThe full workspace: editor, Git, terminals, AI chat, run and debug, and every other feature.

Install the IDEGenexy CLIThe same AI chat in the terminal, for servers, SSH sessions, scripts and CI. The command is gnx.

Start with the IDE

Start with the CLI

Open a terminal in the folder you want to work in and start a chat:

gnx ai chat

Its commands and options are described on Genexy CLI.

Unlock the PRO features (optional)

Everything above works without an account. PRO adds tools that help AI build better projects for fewer tokens; see Plans & Feature Access.
