Settings and Appearance
Open settings with Ctrl+,, from the File menu, or from the gear icon in the title bar. Settings open on the
Appearance tab.
Themes
Choose a theme in Settings → Appearance → Theme. New installations start with Neon.
The theme applies to the whole workspace, including the editor, panels and terminal. A build may also offer additional themes depending on what your account has access to.
Tab orientation
Tab Orientation switches editor tabs between Horizontal (Top) and Vertical (Side). Both layouts support drag-and-drop reordering; the vertical list is easier to read when filenames are long. See File Views & Editors for a side-by-side comparison.
Zoom
The zoom control in the status bar scales the whole interface, not just the editor font. Ctrl with +, - or 0
does the same from the keyboard, and 0 returns to 100%.
Window transparency
Window Opacity and the ambient background affect the window itself and depend on what the platform’s window compositor supports. On a system without transparency support the setting has no visible effect.
Layout
Panels are resized by dragging their edges, and each region can be collapsed from its activity-bar icon. View → Reset Layout restores the default arrangement, which is the quickest fix after dragging a panel somewhere unhelpful.
Appearance and layout preferences are stored per device, not per account. A phone and a desktop signed in to the same account keep their own theme, zoom and layout.
Remote Access
Settings also holds the Remote Access tab, which makes this machine reachable from Genexy on another device. It has consequences for the whole machine, so it has its own page: Remote Access.
Shortcuts reference
The Shortcuts tab in settings lists the shortcuts your build registers, grouped by area. The same list is on the Keyboard Shortcuts page.
